Q. Is 12v Free cutting COB strip warm priced per metre?
A. Yes, 12v Free cutting COB strip warm is priced per metre, add as much as you need into your cart for check-out.
Q. If I need 4 metres will this come as 4 x 1 mere lengths or one length of 4 metres.
A. If you select 4 metres this will be dispatched as 1 x 4 metre piece of strip, unless you let us know otherwise.
Q. Does the strip come with cable tails?
A. If you select 5 metres of strip - this will be dispatched as 1 x 5 metre reel with a 2 metre cable tail soldered.
If you select any other quantity and require us to solder on the cable tails, you will need to select a solder option (menu in customised LED strip) which includes up to 2 metres of cable. If you need longer cable tails, please advise.
Q. Can I cut the strip down?
A. Yes, you can cut anywhere along the strip.

If you need soldered cable tails click on bespoke options below. Note: When ordering in multiples of 5 - Each 5 metre reel includes a 2 metre soldered tail and protective heat shrink. For example, if you order 25 metres (select quantity 25 into cart) - You'll receive this as 5 reels of 5 metres, each with 2 metre tails soldered. Soldered 2 core cable tail. Always select the correct cable for your project ensuring efficient current flow & optimal performance. Quick calculation:
1. Multiply the amount of metres of strip by the wattage: e.g. 5m strip (@10w/m) 5 x 10 = 50 watts 2. Now divide 50 by 12 (12v)= 4.17A 0.5mm cable capacity = 3A 0.75mm cable capacity = 6A In this example - 0.75mm cable is the suitable cable tail option.

Priced by the metre for a maximum single run length of 5 metres - (If longer run lengths over 5 metres are required, contact us for advice on how best to install this).
LED strip is dispatched as one continuous length as per order quantity - Uncut, unless otherwise stated.
