Returns, refunds & discounts

We hope you will be more than happy with your purchase however if there are any problems please get in touch with us as soon as possible in order for us to assist you. 

 

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.  Ensure your returned item is packed in a manner to avoid any damage in transit - we cannot accept damaged returns. You are liable for the shipping cost of your returned items. 

Faulty goods - no hassle returns

1. Contact the office where a returns number will be issued to you.

2. Send the items back to us, clearly stating the returns number on the parcel.  Returns address: Leading L.E.D Limited, 62 Tile Hill Lane, Coventry, CV4 9DG. 

In the meantime, we can send a link to your email address to purchase a replacement order.  You are liable for the cost of this along with postage charges.

Upon receipt into our workshop - we will carry out an in-house test procedure, once this has been carried out and if the goods are diagnosed as faulty, we will issue you with a full refund for the replacement items sent to you - If you haven't ordered replacement items, a full refund will be given on the faulty goods & we will also refund the postage for sending the items back to us - proof of postage must be provided to us.

If the fault is found to be caused due to misuse,  we cannot issue a refund. 

Please do not send your return back to the manufacturer.

Changed your mind

You have a right to cancel your order from placing your order up to 14 days from receiving the goods.

1. We will accept return of goods up to 14 days of purchase.  Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.  Ensure your returned item is packed in a manner to avoid any damage in transit - we cannot accept damaged returns. 

2. Restocking & Administration fees may be applicable. 

3. Our shipping charges for sending the goods to you may be deducted from your refund

Made to measure bespoke LED strip 

It is essential that you double check your measurements and read our confirmation email detailing final measurements discussed & agreed before proceeding with your order.  Bespoke, cut to measure orders are non returnable due to wrong measurements provided to us. 

Every made to measure LED strip unit is tested and in full working order before leaving our workshop. Testing of the product upon receipt is also essential before peeling back 3M backing tape, sticking down and installing the LED the strip, so that any defects that may have occurred during transit can be rectified at this point. Failing to do this will render the tape non-returnable. 

If there are any faults with your made to measure order -

NB: Refunds on goods that were sold under a sale will be refunded at the price the goods were purchased at the time and not the original price of goods once the sale has expired. 

We cannot accept the following returns & refunds - 

Products that are ordered by us, specifically for your application. 

Bespoke, cut and made to measure, customised, soldered and adapted for your specific requirements and specification. Please ensure measurements provided to us are correct before ordering bespoke, cut to measure LED strip. 

If the fault is found to be caused due to misuse. 

- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error 

- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery 

Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days the time this takes may vary for different  payment methods. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable) 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 

Exchanges (if applicable) 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@leadingled.co.uk.

 

Gifts - If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return. 

Shipping 
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 62 Tile Hill Lane, Coventry, CV4 9DG, United Kingdom 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Return shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund for replacement goods purchased from Leading L.E.D  upon diagnosis of faulty items, we will also refund the cost of carriage for sending the faulty goods back to us. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

 

Discounts

Promotional website discounts do not work in conjunction with discounts applied on individual quotation. 


If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
